I'm Dani Nuñez, an interdisciplinary designer from Saint Rose, Louisiana.
“Your background is your superpower.”
Little did I know back then, how true those words would eventually be.
In 2023, I had the privilege of being apart of the Divercity x Design Masterclass with Pensole Lewis College and VF Corporation. At the time, I had no formal design experience and had spent just about a year or so at university. This intensive program was a transformative journey that expanded my skills in CMF design, specifically in Apparel & Accessories, and gave me the confidence to embrace my true potential. It was through trial, error, and curiosity that I grew so much professionally and personally.
In 2024, I broadened my creative experience by working with iconic brands such as Vans, Timberland (Europe), and The North Face, where I designed across Color and Material, Outerwear, and Graphic Design. Designing at these brands gave me such a diverse experience and has shaped my holistic approach to design, allowing me to see the bigger picture and craft cohesive, impactful creations.
Growing up between New Orleans and Miami, my culture is a vibrant melting pot that has profoundly shaped how I connect with people and envision the future. I believe in using design as a platform for true storytelling, creating meaningful experiences that spark dialogue, and inspire people from all walks of life. Through my work, I aim to create designs that are always rooted in celebrating culture, fostering community, and making a lasting impact for generations to come.
